Ice Village that opens only during winter nights has become Tomamu's winter symbol. This year, "Ice Milk Cafe" and "Ice Fruit Shop" open newly.The take-out food or drinks from “Ice Terrace,” the fantastic ice world of "Ice Hotel" and "Ice Chapel" will be the unforgettable memories that you share with your loved ones.Due to the influence of the COVID-19, many winter events have been canceled in Hokkaido. During this situation, we would love to have more people enjoy the fantastic world of ice, so we open Ice Village for not only the hotel guests staying at The Tower and RISONARE Tomamu, but also for day-trippers.

    NEWIce Milk Café

    Tomamu milk has a particularly rich taste in winter. Customers who order "ice milk" pour the milk directly from the faucet of the “ice milk bottle” into a glass made of ice. You can also experience making milk gelato by stirring it on an ice plate.

    NEWIce Fruit Shop

    Enjoy "shaved frozen fruit ice" made of whole fruit, and the luxurious "frozen fruit drinks" made with lots of fruit. We also have items, such as "frozen fruit skewers," that you can easily enjoy. We recommend taking out your favorite items and enjoying them on the Ice Terrace.

    Ice Bar offers over 50 kinds of drinks at the ice bar counter. The new drink this year, "Lemon Ice Cocktail," is originally blue, but it turns into pink after mixing with the acid from lemon. It features a refreshing scent of lemon and a light taste. Come enjoy the cocktails in the clear ice glasses while admiring the fantastic view.

    Ice Chapel

    The Ice Chapel is made of a whole piece of ice, which represents "the unbreakable love between two pure souls which shall last forever." From the altar and crucifix, to the wedding aisle and benches, everything is made of ice and snow. After the wedding, fireworks will be started to celebrate the union of the couple, and color the Ice Village.

The "Ice Hotel" will open only for a limited time in the ice town "Ice Village". The dome-shaped ceiling, wall, and furniture are all made of ice. At the "Arctic Bath" and "Ice Lounge," you would fully enjoy the fantastic ice world surrounded by the birch forest. This year, you can stay with your dog and share the memories of the fantastic ice world.

  • A hotel made entirely of ice

    The dome-shaped hotel is made from a single piece of seamless ice. Besides the ceiling and walls of the dome, the chairs and tables are all made of ice. Inside the dome is a quiet space since the thick ice blocks the sound from outside. In the sleeping bags for extreme cold, you will have a warm and comfortable sleep till the next morning.

  • Relax in the Arctic Bath and at the Ice Lounge

    In the Arctic Bath surrounded by birch forest, you would enjoy the hot spring from Yunosawa Onsen in Shimukappu Village. The “mineral spring with sodium chloride and calcium chloride” would gradually warm your cold body from inside. This ice-made outdoor bath has a panoramic view for you to enjoy while bathing. After the bath, relax at Ice Lounge with the relaxing chair and cellar made of ice.

  • Experience accommodation with your dog

    We not only set up an ice mini dome next to the ice hotel, but also a dog park for your dog to run around and enjoy the powder snow which is unique in Tomamu. We also prepare a fluffy coat and blanket against the cold for your dog.
