It is a mountain resort surrounded by 1,000 hectares of vast nature with lots of attraction all year round. In the summer, there is the "Unkai Terrace'' where you can enjoy a spectacular view, and the "Farm Area'' where you can feel the magnificent nature of Hokkaido. UNKAI TERRACE
It is an observation facility where you can see the dynamic sea of clouds flowing in when the weather conditions are perfect. Unkai Terrace is located at an altitude of 1,088 meters. And you can go right there within 13 min. ride by the Unkai Gondola.The average of the Unkai is about 40% during the season from the mid of May to the mid of Oct.

Currently, the mountaintop is bathed in a breathtaking sea of clouds illuminated in golden light. This morning, the clouds in the distance are flowing from east to west, and the clouds in the foreground are flowing from west to east, creating a very rare phenomenon where the clouds form a large vortex above Tomamu. The foothills are shrouded in thick fog, but beyond the clouds, accessible by gondola, an indescribably breathtaking world awaits. This morning, the dynamic movement of the clouds, which change their appearance moment by moment, is a must-see. The outside temperature at the mountaintop is a refreshing 13 degrees Celsius, so please bring a light jacket.
Farm Area
The farm area is a vast site of about 100 hectares with domestic animals such as cows and sheep. You can stay at various observation spots while admiring the idyllic scenery typical of Hokkaido. We also offer dairy products like fresh milk and cheese produced at the agricultural project "Farm Hoshino."
