– Opening from May 13th
Opening Ceremony
The UNKAI Terrace, where you can experience a variety of sea-of-clouds landscapes starting with the dynamic sea of clouds (unkai), will officially open on May 13th, 2026. On the first day, an opening ceremony will be held with the hope that many guests will witness the sea of clouds and enjoy a truly memorable morning.
With the hope that many guests will experience the sea of clouds, this event is held every year. The ceremony includes a “Cloud Release,” where soap bubbles resembling clouds are released into the blue sky, as well as a champagne opening celebration with our guests.
The cloud shapes are perfect for commemorative photos with the sea of clouds as a backdrop. We are now selling "Cloud Candy" (soda flavor), so you can take home a memorable keepsake. Available exclusively at the "UNKAI Shop" and the "Cloud Post Office."
Enjoy yoga at the UNKAI Terrace, 1,088 meters above sea level. On clear days, take deep breaths and refresh yourself while gazing at the sea of clouds and distant mountains. Start your morning surrounded by nature.
