The Hokkaido Powder Belt refers to the collective winter realm in central Hokkaido, encompassing world-class ski areas such as Tomamu, Furano, Kamui, and Kurodake.
Thanks to an inland climate characterized by minimal humidity and extended stretches where temperatures plunge to -20°C to -30°C (-4°F to -22°F), the region turns precipitation into feather-light, bottomless snow.
